The Octava USB to 2.5mm DC cable allows you to power the HDCAT-IR/HDOCAT in room Receivers directly from the USB port of newer HDTV. Simply plug the USB to the HDTV and power the HDCAT-IR/HDOCAT in room Receivers directly without additional power supplies.

USB power(for maxim link distance, minimum install space )The HDCAT-IR Receiver unit can beUSB powered directly from HDTV usb port when available.

Note: you must check to make sure your HDTV USB supports powering. Some previous generation HDTV have USB service ports, but do not allow powering peripheral devices.
